Tips
- Write down as much as you can remember about the background to any commercial dispute, large or small—it’s surprising how ‘fuzzy’ the small details become over time, so the sooner you do this the better.
- Record, in writing, conversations you or others have had relating to the dispute, in as much detail as possible—who said what to whom; dates conversations took place, how they took place (in person, over the phone, by text), locations etc.
- Start thinking about what you want from the dispute. What is your best case scenario? What is your bottom line?
Getting the most out of your legal experience
To save you money, gather as much documentation as possible before you meet Kamy Saeedi Lawyers. If the dispute relates to a written agreement, bring a copy of it to your first meeting with us. Also bring correspondence, faxes or other documents.
Make a list of questions to ask us, so you get the most out of your time with us—there’s nothing worse than walking out the door and then remembering something you forgot to ask.
